Monoclonal Antibodies for PCR Enzymes

Monoclonal antibodies presented hereby are highly specific to various Polymerases, which are usually used in “hot-start” PCR.

Mabs binds to polymerase protein with high affinity, producing stable protein/protein non-covalently bound complex, blocking residual polymerase activity at room temperature. Loss of ability for polymerase to elongate target DNA at room temperature, avoids miss-priming, primer-dimer formation, and greatly increase yield of target PCR product, improving specificity of PCR reaction.
